Administrative Officers (Generalists) Scale-I

Last Date for Submission of Online Applications—April 20, 2017.

Age Limit—The age of the candidate should be between 21 years and 30 years as on March 1, 2017. It means the candidate must have been born not earlier than March 2, 1987 and not later than March 1, 1996. (both dates inclusive). Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per the norms.

Essential Educational Qualifications—A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.

Number of Vacancies—205.

Selection Procedure—The selection procedure will be mainly divided into three parts—Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Preliminary examination will carry objective type multiple choice questions of 100 marks from three sections. English Language (30 marks), Reasoning Ability (35 marks) and Quantitative Aptitude (35 marks) will be the three sections. Candidates are required to qualify in each section by securing passing marks to be decided by the company. Successful candidates in the Preliminary Examination will be invited for the Main Examination. Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests of 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 30 marks. There will be Interview also in the end. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Main Examination and the Interview.
