Last Date for Submission of Online Applications—June 22, 2017.
Total Vacancies—97 Regular + 32 Ad-hoc
Age Limit—The age of the candidate should not be above 35 years as on the last date fixed for submission of online applications i.e. June 22, 2017. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per the set government norms.
Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidate must possess a Degree in law from a university or institution recognized by the government. He must be practising as an advocate in courts of civil or Criminal jurisdiction. Candidate must also possess a certificate of ‘Basic Knowledge of Computer’ from a government recognized institute.
Scheme of Examination—The scheme of examination will basically comprise three phases—Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type) and vivavoce.
The Preliminary Examination shall carry 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs) of one mark each. It will serve the screening purpose only. Successful candidates in the preliminary part will be invited for the ‘Main Written Examination’ which will consist of three papers. There will be a viva-voce (Interview) in the last phase. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Main Written examination and viva-voce.
