Haryana Staff Selection Commission

Invites online applications for direct recruitment to the posts of constables—General Duty (Male & Female) in Haryana Police Department.

Last  Date  for  Submission  of Online Applications—February 28, 2017.

Age  Limit—The age  of  the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on February 1, 2017. Relaxation will be conceded as per the government rules.

Educational Qualifications—The minimum educational qualification for all categories for the post of constable shall be a pass certificate of 10+2 from a recognised board or university.

Selection Procedure—All candidates shall be put to a Physical Screening Test (PST), carrying maximum of 15 marks to judge their physical fitness and endurance. Successful candidates in the PST will be invited for a Knowledge Test based on Objective Type Questions. The Knowledge Test will carry 60 maximum marks. There will be a scrutiny of Documents of candidates and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) in the selection procedure.

Candidates who qualify PST, KT and PMT will be invited for the Interview-cum-Personality Test. Selection will be made on the basis of overall performance of the candidate.
