Invites online applications for recruitment to the post of constable (Technical and Tradesman).

Last Date for Submission of Applications—March 1, 2017.

Age Limit—

Constable-Driver—Between 21 to 27 years as on January 1, 2017.

Constable Others Except Driver—Between 18 to 23 years as on January 1, 2017.

Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidate must possess a matriculation pass certificate from a recognized Board or University. Candidates applying for Constable-Driver post must possess ‘Transport Vehicle (Heavy) driving license. Candidates applying for constable post in other sections must be proficient in their respective trades.

Selection Procedure : There will be a Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Documentation in the initial state of selection process. Successful candidates will be invited for Written Examination, Carrying 100 marks. The Written Test will be divided into two parts. The first part will carry 40 objective type multiple choice questions of one mark each based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, Basic Knowledge in Hindi/English. Second part will carry 60 objective question of one mark each to assess the candidate’s knowledge in his respective trade. There will be a Medical Examination also in the end before final selection.
