Last Date for Submission of Online Applications—January 03, 2017.
Age Limit (As on January 01, 2017)—The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years for all posts except Deputy Superintendent of Police post as on January 01, 2016. The upper age limit for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police will be 28 years. Candidates domicile of Chhattisgarh will have relaxation in the upper age limit up to 5 years.

Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidates must have a Degree from a government approved university or educational institutions.
Selection Procedure—Combined Competitive State Service Examination – 2016 will consist of two phases—Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination. The Preliminary Examination will comprise 2 papers of Multiple choice objective type questions. There will be 100 questions of 2 marks each in each paper. But the Preliminary Examination will serve the screening purpose only. Successful candidates in the Preliminary Examination will be invited for the Mains Written Examination. The Main Examination will further split into the Written Examination and Interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Main Written Examination and Interview.
