Multiverse – A world beyond our World

Multiverse – A world beyond our World

Thank you Readers for your wonderful appreciation on my previous blogs. Your feedback goes a long way in helping me curate this article. Today's article is loaded with a story, concepts and i am sure most of you will learn something new today. That one worded header itself speaks volume. For those of you who have an idea about it, you know its going to be fun. Multiverse is an astronomical theory that is still contested for its veracity but offers an explanation to most of the ethereal experiences we go through. No better way to understand this theory than by engaging you in a tale. I am gonna need you to time travel with me back to the year 2016. A year that has many defining moments to its credit like the emergence of the behemoth Reliance Jio telecom operator that till date goes on to dominate the Indian telecom industry & the initiation of one of the most cruel policies by Narendra Modi........DEMONETISATION!!

And the third defining moment was in the field of sports. 2016 being a leap year, it was also a year that hosted the Rio Olympics. A year that saw the daughters of India etching its name in history in two sports: Badminton and GYMNASTIC!! How often do we hear an Indian and that too an Indian women capture the hearts worldwide. Dipa Karmakar!! She failed to bag a medal and yet she left every audience gaping in awe at the mind boggling and life threatening PRODUNOVA she produced. Produnova or the vault of death as its called is a skill not for the faint hearted. If executed properly, it will look like a vertical leap that will place you at a height high enough to enable you to do two front somersaults and land safely on your feet. While performing this feat, timing can be your greatest ally or worst foe in determining the consequence. A second off and your failure will leave you severely disable to the point of bringing an end to your career as a gymnast, if not dead.

Dipa's success brought the spotlight to the sport of gymnastic in India and fanned the flames of every young athletes ambition. Little did she know the consequences of her quasi - success. Somewhere in the capital of India, a 17 year old gymnast by the name Brijesh Yadav was practicing to engrave his name in the pages of history. A national level silver medalist, he was trying to nail the "Double front flip". He had a taut Greek physique that was a by product of the practice he did religiously. Having warmed up and having done a few basic gymnast flips, he went on to master his signature move which was the Double front flip.

Gauging the required distance he needed to run, he goes for the dash. Everything clicked. He sprung up beautifully at a height that allowed him to do not one but two front flips. He makes a safe landing. Everyone around were witness to this move he had been practicing for quite some time. They knew that the next meet wont stop him from grabbing his coveted gold. Brimming with confidence, he attempts it couple more times and executes it effortlessly. He had done enough for the day. Brijesh could have and should have retired for the day or done one of the other million things than attempt that move again!!

Stretching his arms to shake off the lactic build up, he pauses at the starting point and runs. He springs up in the air and what followed had every head spinning and every foot pacing towards him. Brijesh falls on the soft mat head first, twisting his neck abnormally enough to slip into a coma. He should have died instantly, but he was a fighter. He had his dreams, his parents love and a glorious career in gymnastics waiting on the other side. Brijesh's had a two month ordeal with death. Even death had the hardest time trying to conquer this warriors soul.

However, Brijesh's respiratory system was damaged beyond repair. His heart rate would drop once taken off of the ventilator. The choice was pretty clear. Somewhere subconsciously, Brijesh would have been kicking himself in the gut for not honoring the omens that were screaming at him to stop and abort. He died a painful death with a blanket of regret pulled over him. The world came together to offer condolences to this mighty warrior only wishing and re-imagining ways in which that leap could be averted. Only if Brijesh and his endless fans knew that somewhere in the distant horizons, beyond the moons and stars, their thoughts were actually manifesting into reality.......

Just in case you are second guessing if i just said that Brijesh was still alive, Yes you are right!! I say this based on the theory of Multiverse. This theory suggest that there could be other universes besides our own, where all the choices you made in this life played out in alternate realities. So, there is a universe where Brijesh made a choice to refrain from practicing that move once again and let it go. He must have even won his coveted gold and given this nation its honor and glory that seems to have been lost. Why limit the application of this theory to only Brijesh's life? Let your imaginations go for a run. If this theory proved to be real, the resulting ramifications are astounding and ethereal.

Apply this theory to a passion you never pursued due to some obligation; it could be someone very dear you lost, someone you imagined to live the rest of your life with; It could be a disability that impairs you from doing the things you love the most and so on....Just know that there could be a world out there where the dynamics of the universe work out the existence of your dream life.

Lets delve to an even more crazy aspect of this theory. Have you ever had this feeling that history or some past life events are occurring again now? Like Life is repeating itself. This theory gives us a plausible explanation to that too. I ll try to make it as simple as i can. Its said that the shape of space-time is flat as an endless road and hence it goes on forever. Having said that, the number of possible particle configurations in multiple universes (or you could think of it as life experiences) would be limited to so many distinct possibilities, viz. 10^10^122 to be exact. Which means there is only a defined number of permutation and combination that allows us experience a different moment. After this number is reached, life gets back to one and begins again. Which means you are living a moment at present with the same set of parameters that was previously lived by someone else.

That someone could be you too. Isn't that freaky!!
All of this brings me to an inevitable conclusion and a food for thought for you readers , that the world wars, the great depression, the lehman brother fiasco, the natural disasters will repeat itself again, whether in this universe or the other is for life to decide. Likewise, there are another set of life altering occurrences that has happened in another universes and is yet to happen here. All we can hope that its for good or atleast not as worse as the ones we have been through!!

Meet India’s Super-Spy - Ajit Doval - The Real Life 007

Meet India’s Super-Spy - Ajit Doval - The Real Life 007

3...2…1… What comes to your mind when I snap my fingers and say the word ‘spy’? Gotcha! You are thinking of James Bond.

Well no, it doesn’t require some kind of a voodoo mind hacking technique to figure that out. On-screen British secret agent Bond has a bad habit of getting in the head. Anyone who has watched a Bond movie can never forget James Bond. Be it Sir Thomas Sean Connery from the good old days, Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig, the adrenaline pumping James Bond packs a punch like no other with his magical charm and daring adventures.

Last night while watching Casino Royale, I was just wondering, do we have anyone in the Indian intelligence with fire inside to pull off Bond-like stunts? A bit of research, and I stumbled upon Ajit Doval, who happens to be the present National Security Advisor of our country. So what? I thought. What’s so remarkable about him? What makes him legendary? What makes him James Bond? For some reason, I always underestimated the Indian intelligence - don’t blame me - blame Bollywood for dispensing trash like “Agent Vinod” and “Ek Tha Tiger.” I know, I am not alone. There are probably a million others who underestimate the capabilities of Indian intelligence agencies. Hold on! Here’s a bit about super-spy Ajit Doval's awe-inspiring undercover operations that will leave you all open-mouthed.

Mission North East
Year, 1966. The Mizo National Front (MNF) is creating mayhem for establishing a separate sovereign state. Amidst this turmoil, Ajit Doval slips into MNF as an undercover and casts a spell. He wins over 6 out of 7 commanders of the Mizo National Front who were fuelling the unrest. This eventually sucked the life out of the Mizo insurgency.

A few years later, Doval was assigned a top-secret mission in the north-eastern state of Sikkim. This was a highly secret operation, and not many details were made public. All we get to know is that Ajit Doval’s presence facilitated the merger of Sikkim with India on May 16, 1975.

Mission Kashmir
Kuka Parray, the founder of 'Awaami League', was previously a dreaded terrorist who supported the insurgency movement in Jammu and Kashmir. Enter Doval, and the scene changes dramatically. Within days, Kuka Parray was passing inside information to the Indian army. This vastly helped the Army’s counter-insurgency efforts in suppressing militancy, which finally paved way for elections in the state.

Mission Pakistan
Though most of Ajit Doval’s work in Pakistan is classified, what little information is available, won't fail to stun you. Doval stayed undercover in Pakistan for 7 years! You heard me right. 7 years. 7 years in the Islamic state of Pakistan, living a fake life, with a fake ID, following a different religion! Can you imagine that? It’s not a movie. A misstep, and you will be either shot in the head or tortured till death.

During his stay in Pakistan, Doval sent crucial information about Pakistan's terror networks, CIA connections, and nuclear development projects.

Operation Black Thunder
Year, 1988. Setting - Golden Temple, Amritsar.

Grab your popcorn and get ready for some high-voltage real life action.

An unknown number of Khalistani militants have taken over Golden Temple. They are armed and dangerous. To make things worse, they have taken civilians as hostage including Romanian Diplomat Liviu Radu. The Home Minister of India, to come out of this crisis situation, asks the army to take action.

Top Army officials hurriedly gather for a high-level meeting. Commandos from the National Security Guard (NSG) are called in. But attacking the temple without exactly knowing the enemy position and strength will be suicidal not only for the commandos but also for the civilians inside. The government is totally shaken. It doesn't want to take chances. The NSG is put on high-alert, but still no orders from the high command for an all-out action.

Next morning, a rickshaw puller is seen loitering outside the temple. This man is persistent. He keeps lingering suspiciously. In this tensed situation, a man never to be seen before, surely catches the attention of militants. A group of terrorists pick him up and take him inside. Who is he? Why is he roaming around? His intentions are not clear.

Inside the Golden Temple, top Khalistani militants like Surjit Singh Penta, Karaj Thande, Bhag Singh, and Chanchal Singh are strategizing their action plan. The rickshaw puller is brought to Sikh separatist leader Surjit Singh Penta. The timid-looking man pulls out a card from his pocket and hands it over to Penta. He leans forward and whispers something. Seems like a code! Penta is overjoyed. He pulls him closer and hugs him. Victory is ensured!

This man, the rickshaw puller, is actually an ISI agent who has come over to help the Khalistani movement. He shares valuable information and sets up the plan. He now has access to the whole complex. According to him, the Indian army won't launch an attack from the front. They won't repeat the same mistake, the mess created by Operation Blue Star. Surprisingly, the militants find that the NSG is gathering at the back door of the temple. The intel is confirmed.

The ISI agent asks Penta to move the civilians at the front gate so that a message is sent that the Khalistanis are not harming locals. This will help them garner local support, he says. It sounded convincing. All the civilians were brought forward. In the meantime, the 'rickshaw puller', after passing on vital information and making necessary arrangements, whisks off.

Seeing the troop deployment at the back side of the temple, the Khalistani terrorists take positions accordingly. Wait a minute. Do you really buy the idea that the rickshaw puller was an ISI agent? No, my friend, he was Mr. Ajit Doval, the man behind Operation Black Thunder. So, what happened next?

The security forces now have specific information about the enemy position and their strength. While the militants are busy guarding the back, the NSG breaks into the temple from the front door and secure the civilians. The NSG commandos catch the terrorists off-guard and easily neutralize them. Case closed.

This high-grade operation is a classic espionage activity that beats fiction. It was hailed globally. The operation provides a case study for 'spy schools' worldwide.

Ajit Doval, a Kerala cadre IPS officer, was awarded Kirti Chakra in 1988 for his exceptional contribution to our nation. He is today the National Security Advisor in Narendra Modi's government. He secures our country from enemies and makes us feel safe.

Chabahar Port - A 'Gateway to Golden Opportunities'

Chabahar Port - A 'Gateway to Golden Opportunities'

In May 2016, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Iran, a trilateral pact was inked between India, Tehran, and Afghanistan. The pact envisions the development of a Transit and Transport Corridor across the three nations using the Chabahar Port as a regional hub.

Chabahar Port is of special interest to India because of its strategic location outside the ‘energy-rich’ Persian Gulf. The port, situated in the Sistan-Baluchistan province, is the only oceanic port of Iran that can be easily accessed from India's western coast, completely bypassing Pakistan.

Following Prime Minister Modi's visit, the President of India, as well as the cabinet ratified the trilateral pact in December 2016. According to government sources, Afghanistan has already approved the pact in its parliament, but Iran is yet to finish their internal processes of ratification.

Recently, on August 5, 2017, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, while on a deputation to Iran at the oath taking ceremony of President Hassan Rouhani, told PTI that Chabahar port would serve as a gateway to golden opportunities as it would open up wide-ranging possibilities and forge a "win-win situation" between India, Iran, and Afghanistan. The port, according to the minister, will attract investors and boost trade across all the three nations.

"Talks are on for building railways and roads through Chabahar till Afghanistan, and then, we have access to Russia," Nitin Gadkari said. "We are hopeful of the ratification of Trilateral Transit and Transport Agreement by Iran, and once approvals are given, the work will start."

As per the MoU signed between India and Iran in May 2016, India will initially put in a capital investment of USD 85.21 million, besides pumping in USD 22.95 million annually for a term of 10 years. On completion of 10 years, ownership of the equipment will be transferred to the Iranian side, unless the lease is extended based on a mutual agreement.

As specified in the MoU, two berths in the Chabahar Port Phase-I have to be made functional within 18 months after signing of the contract. The Iranian government, in accordance with the MoU, had requested for provision of a credit of USD 150 million, which has been cleared by the Indian cabinet in the last year and facilitated through Exim Bank.

Nitin Gadkari's visit to Iran is of tremendous significance as India is keen on accelerating the work process at the Chabahar port. Civil construction work at the site has already started, and tenders have been floated as well for the installation of key equipment. "Once the port becomes operational, it will become a growth engine," Union Minister Gadkari stated.
